Dear Meike
I was proud to call you my friend for so many years.
When I needed advice, you would always take the time and the care to talk me through whatever I needed to discuss.

You are gone and I miss you - I miss the quirky way you held your head to one side, the weird way you held your pen as you took perfect notes.

In one sense you are not gone for me. When I need advice I can always think "what would Meike suggest?" and a thoughtful and creative solution comes to mind.

Thank you for being an important part of my life.
