To the family of our dear Fritjof,
Today I want to thank you, Fritjof, with the same clarity and nobility with which you guided and helped us in the practice of law.
You have been a great colleague and friend, an inspiring light for our European Group and for the large Andersen family. Your colleagues at Andersen Spain are devastated; you have left us too soon.
Through your example, we learned how the honest efforts of a professional must be aimed at justice, how technique without values is empty, how integrity illuminates even the most difficult cases.
You taught us younger lawyers not to lose motivation, to love our profession as a craft, in which every small effort leads to honest work and, ultimately, contributes to transforming society and dignifying our profession. You taught us that we must not give in to indifference or injustice, that we must speak out when we know we are defending a fair cause.
Many people, in addition to your beautiful family, are left feeling lonely: those who received your selfless help, who are not few, and those of us who were fortunate enough to learn at your side. You gave us all your characteristic humility, your legal expertise and, above all, your example of values.
You will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace.
